Birth Educator

In a Lamaze class, you will

• Learn objective, evidence-based information about pregnancy, birth, and baby care;
• Understand your birth options, so you can make informed decisions;
• Learn useful strategies to manage throughout labor and birth;  and
• Learn skills to communicate effectively with your health care provider, so that the two of you can make the best decisions for your pregnancy and birth.

• Saturday: 8:30 am – 1:30 pm and Sunday: 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm

• A great option for individuals or couples who’s schedule does not allow for a large group class.
• A great option for women who are on bed rest.
• An excellent option for 2nd time moms, who want a short refresher.
• Held in your home and information is tailored to meet your needs.

Lamaze childbirth educators are trained to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of women as they prepare for their birth experience. The Lamaze educator uses creative, simple teaching skills that allow expectant women and their support person practice coping strategies as well as to build their communication and negotiation skills.
